| Terms of Reference | Two awards, valued at $6,000 each, will be granted annually in any term to undergraduate students who meet the following criteria: - are enrolled full-time in the term of eligibility; -are in good academic standing; - are pursuing a bachelor�s degree in any faculty at SFU; - are a former participant in the Friends of Simon Program during their K�12 education in BC; and - have demonstrated excellence, leadership or potential to excel in their field of study. Applications must include: - a cover letter from the applicant outlining the positive impact of their service and/or volunteerism within an organization or community relevant to their field of study; and -a letter of reference from a tutor or a member within the Friends of Simon program who can attest to the applicant�s participation. The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee, upon the nomination of the Dean, Faculty of Education or their designate. |
