| Terms of Reference | One award, valued at a minimum of $2,000, will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria: - is enrolled full-time in the term of eligibility; - is pursuing a bachelor�s degree in any faculty at SFU; and - has demonstrated community involvement or volunteering service. Preference will be given to those who have shown commitment in providing unpaid volunteer work in the field of healthcare and/or animal welfare. Applications must include: -a one-page letter outlining the positive impact of the applicant�s service and/or volunteerism, and describing how they meet the preference criteria, if applicable; and - a letter of reference from a community member and/or supervisor who can verify the applicant�s community involvement or volunteering service and speak to the positive impact of the applicant�s role. The award will be administered by the office of Financial Aid and Awards and granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee. |
