| Terms of Reference | At least one award, valued at a minimum of $3,500, will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who identifies as a woman and meets the following criteria: - is enrolled full-time in the term of eligibility; - is enrolled in the School of Mechatronic Systems Engineering; - is in good academic standing; - has demonstrated leadership skills through involvement, volunteering, leadership, and/or service to their school; and -has interest in pursuing a career in engineering after their studies. Preference will be given to students in their first year of studies. Applications must include: -a resume/CV; and - a personal statement of no more than 500 words outlining the applicant�s interest to pursue a career in engineering and how they have demonstrated leadership in their community and/or school. The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the nomination of the Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences or their designate. |
