Terms of Reference | At least one award, valued at a minimum of $2,500, will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who self-identifies as a woman, and meets the following criteria: - is enrolled full-time in the term of eligibility; - is in good academic standing; - is pursuing a bachelor�s degree in Computing Science; - has helped foster a welcoming, respectful, kind, and supportive learning environment among their peers; and -has shown leadership and/or engagement through peer-to-peer activities at SFU. Applications must include: - A resume/CV outlining relevant experience and interest; - A personal statement of no more than 500 words which details the following: - Your involvement demonstrating leadership and/or engagement in peer-to-peer activities at SFU? -How have these activities helped foster a welcoming, respectful, kind and supportive learning environment for you and your peers? The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the nomination of the Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences or their designate. |
