Terms of Reference At least one award, valued at a minimum of $3,000, will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria: - is blind or has limited vision and registered with the Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL); - is enrolled full-time during the term of eligibility, or carrying a reduced course load but acknowledged by the CAL to be entitled to full-time status consideration on disability grounds; - is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident; - is in good academic standing; and - has experienced barriers to their learning and are continuing to persevere with their studies. Applications must include: - a brief statement describing the barriers that have impacted their learning and what it would mean to the student to receive this award (how this award would impact their university experience). The award will be administered by the office of Financial Aid and Awards and granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the nomination of the Director, Centre for Accessible Learning, or their designate.
