Terms of Reference | One or more awards, valued at a minimum of $5,000, will be granted annually in any term to undergraduate students who meet the following criteria: - are enrolled full-time in term of eligibility; - are pursuing a bachelor�s degree in the Beedie School of Business with a concentration in Accounting; - are in good academic standing; - demonstrate academic promise; - demonstrate leadership skills through community involvement, volunteering, and/or service to their school; and - have interest in pursuing a career and/or further credentials in accounting. Applications must include: - a resume; - a one-page letter outlining the applicants� community service, volunteerism or service to their school; - a statement outlining the applicant�s interest to pursue a career and/or further their credentials in accounting; and - a letter of reference from a community member, supervisor or faculty member who can verify the applicant�s community involvement, volunteering and/or service to their school. The award will be administered by the office of Financial Aid and Awards and granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the nomination of the Associate Dean, Undergraduate Programs, Beedie School of Business or their designate. |
