Terms of Reference | At least one award, valued at a minimum of $2,000, will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria: - is enrolled full-time in term of eligibility; -is in good academic standing; - is enrolled in the School of Computing Science; and - has demonstrated perseverance in their education journey within the School of Computing Science. Preference will be given to a mature student as defined by SFU Admissions. If there are no mature students, this award may be given to the next best candidate. Applications must include: - a resume -a personal statement of no more than 500 words which details the following:- How have you preserved so far in your education journey within the School of Computing Science? -What impact do you hope to have on your community after you finish your education in Computing Science?The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the nomination of the Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences or their designate. |
