Procedure Student Application
Terms of Reference At least one award, valued at a minimum of $2,000, will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria: -is Indigenous (First Nations, M�tis, Inuit); - is enrolled full-time in the term of eligibility; -is pursuing a bachelor�s degree in any faculty; -is in good academic standing; and - has demonstrated community service within an organization or community of benefit to the Indigenous community. Applications should include: -a detailed explanation/overview of their service/or volunteerism within an organization or community of benefit to the Indigenous communities. Submission can be a written (cover letter, story format), or any material describing the outcome of what the applicant completed. (digital format, photo); and -a reference or "witnessing" statement from a leader within the organization or community (this can include an Elder, supervisor, or community leader) who can attest to the applicant�s involvement and speak to the positive impact of the applicant�s role. This can be submitted in written or digital oral format. The awards will be administered by the office of Financial Aid and Awards and granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee.
