Terms of Reference | At least one award, valued at a minimum of $5,000, will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria: - is enrolled full-time in the term of eligibility; - is in good academic standing; - is pursuing a bachelor�s degree in an engineering program from the School of Engineering Science, the School of Mechatronic Systems Engineering, or the School of Sustainable Energy Engineering within the Faculty of Applied Sciences; has completed 60 units; and demonstrates community engagement.Applications must include: - a resume/CV outlining relevant demonstrated community engagement and experiences; - a personal statement of no more than 500 words which details the following: - What impact has your community engagement had on you and those you are involved with? - How will you incorporate community into your engineering career? The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the nomination of the Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences or their designate. |
