| Terms of Reference | At least one award, valued at a minimum of $5,000 annually, will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria: -is registered with the Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL); -is enrolled full-time during the term of eligibility, or carrying a reduced course load but acknowledged by the CAL to be entitled to full-time status consideration on disability grounds; -has an ongoing mental health condition for at least one year; -has demonstrated perseverance through their mental health struggles; -has demonstrated a strong commitment to their academic career; and -has the potential to be an outstanding participant in the community. Applications must include: -A personal statement describing how they meet the criteria for the award. This could be in the form of a letter, video, or audio recording. The award will be administered by the office of Financial Aid and Awards and granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the nomination of the Director, Centre for Accessible Learning, or their designate. |
