| Terms of Reference | One or more awards, valued at a minimum of $1,000 each, will be awarded annually in any term to undergraduate students who meet the following criteria: - are enrolled full-time in a degree program at Simon Fraser University; - are enrolled full-time in the term of award; - are in good academic standing; and - have written an exemplary essay in any Global Humanities course at SFU in the previous three terms. Applications must be submitted to the Department of Global Humanities by April 30th and must include an essay written as part of any Global Humanities course at SFU that is at least 1500 words in length. The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the nomination of the Chair, Department of Humanities or a designate. |
