Terms of Reference | At least one award, valued at a minimum of $2,000, will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria: - is enrolled full-time in the term of eligibility;- is pursuing a bachelor's degree in the Faculty of Science and is enrolled in the Department of Mathematics;- has a declared major in Mathematics;- is in good academic standing; and - has been an active member of the community through volunteerism and/or community service.Applications should include:- a one-page statement from the applicant outlining their volunteerism and/or community service; and- a letter of reference from an individual who can verify the student's volunteerism and/or community serviceThe award will be administered by the office of Financial Aid and Awards and granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the recommendation of the Chair, Department of Mathematics or their designate. |
