| Terms of Reference | At least two awards, valued at a minimum of $2,500 each will be granted in any term to undergraduate students who meet the following criteria: - are enrolled full-time during the term of eligibility; - are majoring in Earth Sciences and are in the Geology stream in the Faculty of Science; - have completed a minimum of 45 units at SFU; and -are interested in pursuing a career in geological exploration. Applications must include: -a one-page personal statement about their interests, their experience in geological exploration, and how this award will help advance their career. The awards will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the nomination of the Chair, Department of Earth Sciences. |
