| Terms of Reference | One or more awards, valued at a minimum of $1,250 each, will be granted annually in any term to Indigenous undergraduate students who meet the following criteria: - Self-identify as Indigenous; - are enrolled in full-time studies in the term of eligibility; -have completed 12 units at SFU; - are pursuing a bachelor�s degree in the Faculty of Science; - are in good academic standing; and - have a demonstrated passion for sports, volunteerism, or community service. Preference will be given to Indigenous undergraduate students who are enrolled in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science. Applications must include: - Resum�; - a statement from the applicant outlining the applicant�s passion for sports, volunteerism, or community service; and - one letter of reference from someone who can verify the student�s passion for sports, volunteerism, or community service. The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon recommendation of the Dean, Faculty of Science or their designate. |
