Terms of Reference | At least two awards, valued at a minimum of $1,000 each, will be granted annually in any term to undergraduate students who meet the following criteria:- are pursuing a bachelor�s degree in the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences with a declared major in Economics;- are enrolled full-time in the term of eligibility;- have completed at least 60 SFU units;- are in good academic standing; and- have demonstrated interest in pursuing a professional designation in finance such as a CFA or CMT after graduation.Preference will be given to students who are currently enrolled in or have completed the CFA or CMT designations.Applications should be submitted to the office of the Undergraduate Chair of Economics and must include a brief statement outlining the applicant�s plans to pursue a professional designation in finance such as a CFA or CMT after graduation or proof that the applicant has completed or is currently enrolled in the CFA or CMT. The awards will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon nominations by the Undergraduate Chair of Economics in SFU�s Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences or their designate. |
