Terms of Reference | The Tom Grieve Honours English Program Award, valued at a minimum of $1,000, will be available each year to a student who fulfills the following criteria:- is enrolled in the Honours English Program in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences as a full-time undergraduate student;- has completed ENGL494;- is in good academic standing, and- has a completed project or ongoing research that shows the most potential making an impact in their chosen scholarly field.Applications must be received by the Undergraduate Chair, Department of English. All applications must be accompanied by the following:- a current, unofficial SFU transcript; or, in the case of transfer students, a current, official transcript of completed post-secondary studies; and,- a personal statement outlining why the applicant has enrolled in the Honours English Program and the achievements they've accomplished or hope to accomplish in the program.The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the nomination of the Department of English's Undergraduate Curriculum Committee. |
