Terms of Reference | At least one award, valued at a minimum of $1,000 will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria:- is enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program at SFU in the term of eligibility;- is in good academic standing; and, - has volunteered or worked temporarily for the SFU campus libraries for at least two terms (consecutively or not) over the past five years- demonstrates the impact of their library employment/volunteering, and range of activities at SFU and in the community, on their professional, educational or personal development.Applicants must submit the following documentation:- a personal statement or video (maximum one page or 3 minutes respectively) describing how the candidate's employment or volunteering at the SFU libraries, along with their range of activities at SFU and in the communicty, have impacted their professional, educational or personal growth;- a curriculum vitae (CV); and - a confirmation letter of volunteer or paid work from the applicant's library supervisor.The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the recommendation of the Dean, Library Services. |
