| Terms of Reference | One award, valued at a minimum of $1,000, will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria: - is enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's degree program in the Beedie School of Business; - is in good academic standing; - has demonstrated outstanding service in the university community through membership in a student club within the Beedie School of Business in at least two of the three terms prior to their award application. Applications must include: - a summary of the applicant's university involvement; and, - a letter of reference from an SFU faculty or staff member who can verify the university involvement, club membership, and impact of the applicant's role. The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee on the recommendation of the Dean, Beedie School of Business. The Beedie School of Business will add the student recipient's name to the Stanley J. Shapiro Student Service Award commemorative plaque. |
