Terms of Reference | Two awards, valued at a minimum of $2,000 each, will be granted each year in any term to an undergraduate student who fulfills the following criteria:- registered in the SFU- Douglas Degree Program;- enrolled in a minimum of 9 units (full-time) of standard graded courses at SFU- has a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and is in good academic standing at SFU;- has completed a minimum of 45 credits; and,- has demonstrated through a history of volunteerism/community service, that they are focused on 'doing' and 'discovery'.Applications must include:- a recent letter of reference verifying the student's recent volunteerism/community service; and- a letter, written by the applicant, explaining how their recent volunteerism/community service has shaped what they want to do and what they have discovered about themselves.The awards will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee. |
