Terms of Reference The award, valued at a minimum of $1,000, is available to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria: - is enrolled full-time majoring in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies; - is in good academic standing; and - has demonstrated commitment to social justice A student may receive the Rosemary Brown Undergraduate Award in Social Justice only once in their studies. Preference will be given to women and self-identified women applicants. Application packages must include a letter of no more than one page outlining the students work, volunteer and/or experience with social justice. Preference will be given to students who meet the criteria and are nominated by GSWS faculty members to the GSWS Chair. The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the recommendation of the Chair, Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies.
