| Terms of Reference | One award, valued at $1,000, will be granted annually to an international undergraduate student who meets the following criteria: enrolled full-time in any undergraduate degree program at Simon Fraser University; in good academic standing (minimum cumulative GPA 2.00 and term GPA 2.00); and has contributed to intercultural understanding and/or demonstrated a commitment to intercultural engagement. Applicants will be required to provide a statement outlining their interest in and beliefs about culture, how they have contributed to intercultural understanding, and/or activities and involvement that demonstrates their commitment to intercultural engagement. The statement should be supported with a letter of reference which verifies this information to be true. The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee on the nomination of the Director, International Services for Students. |
