Terms of Reference | This bursary, valued at a portion of the interest earned on the endowment, will be awarded annually in any term. The bursary will be awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to a full-time graduate student in the following order of preference: 1.Indigenous students registered in one of the SFU Surrey Community Graduate Programs 2.Students registered in one of the SFU Surrey Community Graduate Programs 3.Indigenous students registered in one of the SFU Community Graduate Programs 4.Students registered in one of the SFU Community Graduate Programs If, in the future, further graduate community programs and/or graduate certifications come into existence at SFU's Faculty of Education, applicants enrolled in these programs may also be eligible. Multiple bursaries may be disbursed if endowment income permits. Indigenous heritage is defined as, in accordance with Canada's 1982 Constitution, First Nations, M�tis, and Inuit peoples of Canada. The bursary will be administered by the office of Financial Aid and Awards and granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee. |
