Terms of Reference | The Warren Gill Memorial Award, valued at a portion of the interest earned on the Endowment, will be given to a full-time undergraduate student pursuing a BA with a major in Geography. The award will be granted annually in the Fall term on the basis of good academic standing and leadership and/or service within the community. Nominations must include a letter outlining the candidate's leadership activities and/or community service as well as letter(s) of recommendation confirming the activities. Preference will be given to third year students. If there are no eligible third year students, the award may be offered to an eligible fourth year student. The award may be given in the Spring term if a successful applicant is not found in the Fall term.The Award will be made by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee based upon the recommendation of the Chair, Department of Geography. |
