| Terms of Reference | At least one award, valued at a minimum of $2,000, will be granted annually in any term to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria: - is registered with the Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) as being deaf or hard of hearing; - is enrolled full-time in the term of eligibility, or carrying a reduced course load but acknowledged by the CAL to be entitled to full-time status consideration on disability grounds; - is in good academic standing; and - has demonstrated a willingness to break boundaries for the deaf community either through their studies, leadership, activism or volunteerism. The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the recommendation of the Director, Centre for Accessible Learning. |
