| Terms of Reference | One or more scholarships, valued at a minimum of $3,000 each, will be granted annually in any term to undergraduate students who meet the following criteria: - are enrolled full-time in a Bachelor�s degree program in the Faculty of Science; - have a declared major in one of the following physical sciences (Physics, Applied Physics, Mathematical Physics, Chemical Physics, Chemistry, Biological Physics, Molecular Biology & Biochemistry); - are in excellent academic standing; - have completed at least 60 units toward the requirements for a degree; and - have completed at least 30 SFU units in two of the last three terms in which they were enrolled. Neither students pursuing double majors where one of the majors is outside of the physical sciences listed nor students pursuing only a minor in one of these physical sciences will be considered. Applications should be submitted to the Faculty of Science. The scholarship will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee on the recommendation of the Associate Dean, Academic, Faculty of Science. |
