| Terms of Reference | One or more bursaries will be awarded annually, on the basis of demonstrated financial need, to an undergraduate student who is entering Simon Fraser University from a BC secondary school or college and who meets the following criteria: in good academic standing (at entrance: minimum average of 80% from a BC high school or 3.00 from a BC college); enrolled in a full-time course load (minimum of 9 unit hours per term); has demonstrated financial need; is a single parent; and is a Canadian citizen/permanent resident of Canada. The entrance bursary is renewable for up to three additional years for a total of four years, as long as the student recipient continues to meet the criteria. Funding is applicable to an undergraduate program only. In order to receive future renewal installments, the recipient must continue to be enrolled in a full-time course load (minimum 9 unit hours per term.) This entrance bursary will be administered by the office of Financial Aid and Awards and granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee.. |
